We are currently supervising three HTL students in their diploma thesis on the topic of "Optimization of pallet positioning". Having already finished the theoretical work under the guidance of some LTW employees from the fields of automation technology and mechanical design, they are now testing whether their mathematical approach corresponds to reality. To do this, they have taken laser-based series of measurements in the high-bay warehouse in the new LTW building. Now they can compare the data with their previously theorized assumptions and use it for further development. The new LTW warehouse is ideally suited for this purpose because it incorporates a wide range of new technologies.
